In networking events, the business card defines ourselves to the people we meet. Our name is associated with a profession, which has a specific set of knowledge.
In the context of the Kultursymposium, we helped visitors invent new identities by producing new business cards for them on the spot, with the explicit invitation to invent a new occupation, and perhaps even a new name, for themselves. The idea is to create a situation in which we come to know each other as persons, rather than for professional purposes.
